Commonality in the messages of Jesus Christ and Shirdi Sai Baba!

God is One!

Sri Sainathaya Namah!

Wishing Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2019 to all the readers!

Jesus Christ and Shirdi Sai Baba, both are believed to be Divine Incarnations, came on earth at different times to restore the human values and establish God's Kingdom on this planet. In this current post an attempt is made to retrospect and compare in brief, their ever truthful messages. I request the readers to pardon for any of my unintentional mistakes.

Jesus Christ travelled in the regions of Galilee; town to town, preached, healed the sick, became popular with people, great crowds followed Him.One day Jesus went up a mountain side and spoke to His disciples and crowds. The sermon on the mountain outlines the right ways for us to approach God and to deal with other people. Below is a brief summary of His sermon.(Ref: 'Jesus' movie)

Love your   enemies.
Do good to those who hate you.
Bless those who curse you and pray for people who mistreat you.
If any one hits you on one cheek, let him hit the other one also.
And if someone takes away your coat, let him have your shirt as well.
Give to everyone who begs from you.
And if someone takes what is your's don't ask for back again.
Do for others only what you would have others do for you.
If you love only the people  who love you why should you receive a blessing?
For even sinners love those who love them.
And if you do good to those who do good to you why should you receive a blessing?
Even sinners do that.
And lend expecting nothing back, and then you will have a great reward. For you will be sons of the Most High God
For He is good to the ungrateful and to the wicked, be merciful , just as your Father is merciful.
Judge not, and you will not be judged.
Condemn not, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Give, and it will be given to you, for the measure you give, will be measure you will get back
One blind man can not lead another, if he does, they both will fall into a ditch.
Why do you see the spec that is in your brother's eye, but pay no attention to the log in your own eye.

Teachings of Sai Baba (1838-1918),  Ref: Sai Baba the Master by Sri. E. Bharadwaja

Be the real and true sons of the mother (Dwarakamai, the old Masjid).
If anybody is angry with another, he wounds me to the  quick. If anyone abuses another, I feel pain. If anyone bravely endures the abuse, I feel highly pleased.
If anybody comes and abuses you or punishes you, do not quarrel with him.If you can not endure it, speak a simple word or two, or else leave the place. But do not battle with him.
Do not fight with any, nor scandlise any.
When one talks ill of you, pass on unperturbed. His words can not pierce your body.
Others acts will affect them only and not you. It is only your acts that will affect you.
If others hate us, do not bark at people, bear with other's reproach. This is the way to happiness.
The world maintains a wall between oneself and others. Destroy the wall. God is the supreme Lord.
Who ever or whatever creature comes to you, do not drive it away, but receive it with due consideration.
Give food to the hungry, water to the thirsty and clothes to the  naked. Then God will be pleased.
If any one begs anything of you, if you can, grant the request or get it granted.
If anyone talks ten words to us, let us answer with one word, if we reply at all.
Never accept gratis to labour  of others.
" If I take one rupee as offering from anybody, I have to return it tenfold to him."
The donor gives only to reap a rich harvest in the future.
Unless you have given it before, you will not get it now.
Allah is the protector of the poor. There is nothing besides Him.

Miracles done by Jesus Christ and Shirdi Sai Baba

Innumerable miracles happened with Jesus. Sai Baba too did many similar miracles. He Himself resurrected in August,1886 after being dead for 3 days. He raised the dead, controlled severe storm, created water and fire, did light lamps with water, saved a marine captain from a sinking ship. Sai cured many incurable diseases, lame could walk, blind could see, dumb could speak.  Freed some from ghosts and such other evil powers. Poor became rich, blessed many couples with children. Fed many with little food. Sai enlightened the ignorant. Ever alert from His tomb, Sai Baba helping and protecting innumerable devotees who soever seek solace and help from Him even today. Millions visiting Sai Baba shrine in Shirdi every year. All these similarities make devotees to believe that both Jesus Christ and Sai Baba are ever existing, messengers of God, ocean of compassion.

May Grace of  the Almighty fall on all! May all be prosperous and happy!
