బాబాతోటి  తొలి అనుభవము 

" అనుభవం ప్రసాదించడము ద్వారా సదా బాబా మన వెంట వున్నాను అనే గుర్తింపును ప్రసాదిస్తున్నారు. అట్టి అనుభవం పొంది కూడా సద్గురుని నిజస్థితిని గురించి తర్కించడము, తీపి రుచిని జూస్తూ , తీపి ఎలావుంటుందని అడగటములాగా  వుంటుంది. అలాగాక ఆ అనుభవాన్నే అంటిపెట్టుకొని ఆయనను శరణు పొందగలిగితే, బాబాయే సర్వసృష్టికి ఆధారభూతుడు అనే సత్యం అవగత మవుతుంది. "

సాయిబాబా గురించి 1993 వ సంవత్సరానికి ముందు నాకు పెద్దగా తెలియదు. అదే సంవత్సరంలో హైదరాబాద్ వెంగళరావు నగర్లో సాయిమాస్టర్ అపార్ట్మెంట్స్ నిర్మాణం జరిగింది. అందులో మేమొక యూనిట్ తీసికొనుటచే  బిల్డర్లులో ఒకరైన శ్రీవేంకటస్వామి గారితో పరిచయ మేర్పడినది. వారు మిత్రులు,సౌమ్యులు,మంచి సాయిభక్తులు. వారు బాబా సత్సంగాలకు వెళుతూ రెండు మూడు సార్లు నన్నుకూడ తీసికెళ్లారు. సాయిమాస్టర్ అపార్ట్మెంట్స్ పూర్తియైన పిమ్మట అక్టోబర్ 31 న గృహప్రవేశాలు జరిగాయి. వెంకటస్వామిగారు కూడా ఓ యూనిట్ తీసుకొన్నారు. ఆ సందర్భాంగా శ్రీ శిరిడీసాయి  సచ్చరిత్ర జ్ఞానయజ్ఞ కార్యక్రమము, సెల్లార్లో 7 రోజులు పాటు జరిగినది. 8 వరోజు పూర్ణాహుతి కార్యక్రమము. శ్రీ కృష్ణావర్జుల రాజేంద్రప్రసాద్ గారు, తమ 14 వ జ్ఞానయజ్ఞంగా మా పూజాకార్యక్రమాన్ని చాల చక్కగ జరిపారు. ప్రతిరోజూ సాయంకాలం 5 గంటలనుండి బాబా పాటలు, పూజ, చరిత్రపారాయణ విశ్లేషణ, ఆరతి  జరిగేవి. నవంబర్ 7 న పూర్ణాహుతి కార్యక్రమం బహువేడుకగా జరిగినది. విశేష పూజ, బాబా నాలుగు ఆరతులు, అన్నదానాలు జరపడమైనది.

అదేరోజు, రోజూ జరగని ఓ ప్రత్యేకత జరిగినది. ఉదయం షుమారు 11 గంటల ప్రాంతంలో ఓ వింత ఫకీరు సెల్లారులోని బాబాపూజా స్థలానికి ఎదురుగా వచ్చి కూర్చొన్నారు. కూర్చునేముందు ఆ వ్యక్తి  3వ అంతస్తులోని వెంకటస్వామిగారి యూనిట్ లోనికి ఎవరి ప్రమేయం లేకుండా ప్రవేశించి  అచట ఉంచిన పూజాబట్టల నుండి ఓ టవల్ తీసి, తమ మొలచుట్టూ కట్టుకొని కిందికొచ్చారు. బాబాకెదురుగా కూర్చున్నవారికి  బాబాప్రసాదంగా కొన్నిఫలాల వారిదోసిలిలో ఉంచాను. ఆయన వాలకం చాల వింతగా ఉంది. మాట్లాడుతుంటే కనులవైపు జూడక ఎటో గాల్లోకి పరాకుగా  పిచ్చిచూపులు చూస్తున్నారు. ఎలాంటి స్పందన లేదు.  షుమారు పది నిముషాల తరువాత ఆ ఫకీరు యెటో  వెళ్లిపోయారు. అంతకు ముందుగాని, ఆ తరువాతగాని ఆయన్ని ఎవరూ చూచుట జరుగలేదు. నిలకడగా ఆపై కొన్నిరోజులకు కొద్దిమంది భక్తులకో అనుమానమొచ్చింది. ఆ వచ్చిన ఫకీరు సాయికాదుగదా యని!  ఏమోమరి ఇప్పటివరకు ఆ వివరం తెలియరాని గుహ్యం. కాని పూజాకార్యక్రమం అందరికి తృప్తినిచ్చినది. ఆ పై ఎందరి మనసులలోనో బాబా ప్రవేశించారు. వారికి బాబాపై భక్తిశ్రద్ధలు పెరిగాయి. నాకు కూడ  అందరిలాంటి అనుభూతి, తృప్తి కలిగాయి. కొన్నిరోజుల వరకు  ప్రత్యేకంగా మరి ఎలాంటి అనుభవం కలుగలా. కాని సుమారు 40 రోజుల తరువాత నా మనసులో  తెలియరాని జాగరణలాంటి ఓ   సంచలనం. బాబా పై ఎన్నో భావాలు, మనసునిండా బాబా ఆలోచనలు. క్రమంగా ఆ భావాలకు స్తోత్ర, గేయ రూపాలు. ఏ దైవ ప్రార్ధన విన్నా అదే వరుసలో బాబా పై స్తోత్రాలు. ఈ జాగరణ సుమారు  ఓ సంవత్సరం 1994 చివరి వరకు, చాల ఉధృతంగా ఉండేది. కనీసం ఓ వందకుపైనే బాబాపై పాటలు, గేయాలు వగైరా రాయడం జరిగింది. ఈక్రమంలోనే జనవరి 5, 1994 న శ్రీసాయి అష్టకము, లింగాష్టక బాణీలో వ్రాయడం జరిగింది. మనసులోని ఆ సంచలన వేగం తగ్గినప్పటికి, ఇప్పటికి కొనసాగుతుంది. జూన్ 19, 1994 న  అమ్మ నాన్నలతో సకుటుంబముగా శిరిడీ  వెళ్లి శ్రీ సాయిబాబాను దర్శించుకొన్నాను. నా జీవన యాత్రలో బాబా అలా ప్రవేశించి కొనసాగుతున్నారు! ఆ అనుభవాలన్నింటిని ఇచట అందరితో పంచుకోవడంలో ఎంతో ఆనందం, మరెంతో తృప్తి మిగులుతున్నాయి.

My first experience with Saibaba

" By providing experience, Saibaba makes us realize that He ever moves with us. Even after having such experiences, doubting about His real presence is like asking the taste of  sugar while eating sugar itself. Instead, in the light of such experiences if  one  trust and surrender  to Sadguru , one can realize the truth that Saibaba is the causative force of the creation of total cosmos. "

I was not knowing much about Saibaba before the year 1993. In that same year construction of  one apartment complex, named as 'SaiMaster Complex'  started in Vengal Rao Nagar in the Hyderabad city (India). As we had booked one unit in that complex I developed friendship with one of the builders Sri Venkataswamy garu. He is very nice and friendly person, above all a staunch devotee of Shirdi Saibaba. A couple of times he took me  with him while going to Sai satsang. After  completion of the construction  on 31st of October,  owners occupied their units. Venkataswamy garu also kept one unit for himself.  On that context of  completion and occupation of the new complex  a special 7 day Sri Shirdi Sai Jnana Yagna  puja program was performed in the cellar, starting from 31st October. On 8th day the conclusion ceremony called as 'Poornahuti' was conducted. Sri Krishnavarjula Rajendra Prasad conducted the 8 day program to the satisfaction of one and all. Everyday the program used to start at 5 pm with playing songs on Sai Baba, worship and discourses on Sri Sai Satcharitra concluding with Arathi. On 7th November was performed the concluding Poornahuti program in a grand festive mood. On that day  special puja/worship program was done followed by 4 Aratis, special feeding of food as Baba prasadam etc.

 On the same day, some thing special, different  from other days had  happened. In the morning at about 11.00 am, a peculiar fakir came and seated opposite to the puja/worship platform in the cellar. Before sitting he went to the unit of Venkataswamy garu in the third floor with out anybody's knowledge or approval, picked up a new towel from the puja items kept there, wrapped around his waist and came down. As he seated opposite to Baba's place, I was standing there and offered him some fruits as Baba's prasadam into his open hands; as he carried no bags or such things. His appearance and behaviour looked very strange. While offering fruits to him, he was quiet unmindful of receiving them, gazing into vacuum in a peculiar way. He showed no signs of feelings or emotions while accepting the fruits. Approximately after  10 minutes, he left the place and in a few minutes no body could trace him. Also no one saw him before or after that morning till today. In a few days when things subsided, it occurred to some devotees that the fakir might be Sai Baba and  visited the place to bless the event. Only God knows about it, no one has any clear clue or knowledge of it , even today. But the program left immense satisfaction to one and all those who attended.

Love, devotion and worship towards Baba enhanced among so many families. I also got similar emotional satisfaction as others, but nothing special occurred to me. But after about 6,7 weeks some thing strange and peculiar that never happened to me before took place in my mind. It was like a continuous stir or windy like agitation beyond my description of words. It occurred to me as a wakeup call to a sleepy mind. So many emotional feelings , so many thoughts about Baba flooded my mind, my mind was  in a type of agitation and stir. Slowly emotional thoughts and feelings  took the form of some spontaneous writings, with out my attempt or will. When ever I heard any prayer or bhajan or hymn of any God form, I got inspired and felt like writing similar to those both in tune and content. Here I wish to mention that I was never a writer  of  any such things before that happening, wholly it was and is a play of Sai. This severe inner  emotional mental agitation continued about an year or so. At least a hundred or above inspirational writings of prayers or poems or bhajans occurred during this period. In this process Sai Ashtakam ( included in this blog ) was written on 5th January, 1994. ( That was the birthday of Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, author of 'Autobiography of a Yogi'. I was reading  his books  since 6,7 years before that day). Though the degree of mental agitation subsided in later years, the inspiration and love towards Sai still continues. Our family visited Shirdi on 19th June,1994. Thus Sai entered my life since 25 years , interestingly coinciding with the 100 year Celebrations of Shri Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi. It gives me immense satisfaction and pleasure in sharing my experience with all the devotees. Millions of my  Salutations to our Sadguru Sainath! I wish and pray that all of us get the love and protection from our Sadguru Sainath!
