Homage to Swamy Vivekananda🙏

Homage to Swami Vivekananda — Beacon of Spirit and Service. Many salutations to the lion-hearted monk who awakened the sleeping soul of humanity. Swami Vivekananda’s life was a living scripture — fiery with truth, tender with compassion. Trained at the feet of Sri Ramakrishna, he carried the ancient wisdom of India to the modern world, teaching that the Divine dwells in every heart and must be served in the poor, the weary, and the forgotten. “They alone live who live for others,” he proclaimed — and he lived those words. The world remembers him as a great spiritual leader. But few know his silent miracles — the unseen hand that protects seekers. As a small child, E. E. Dickinson nearly drowned; at the edge of death he beheld a radiant, blessing Presence that saved his life. Years later (17 years of age) in Chicago, he saw that same luminous form again — and recognized it upon the stage as Swami Vivekananda. With a compassionate smile, the Swami read his heart and said, “I am not your Guru. Your Guru will come later… he will give you a silver bowl and bless you beyond measure.” Decades passed in prayerful waiting. At last, the Divine led Dickinson to Paramahansa Yogananda(1925.) His soul knew instantly — the destined Guru had arrived. On Christmas Day, 1936, Yogananda placed a silver bowl in his hands — the prophecy fulfilled, the grace of Vivekananda revealed.
Such is the breadth of this great saint: a fearless herald of Vedanta, and at the same time a hidden guardian of souls — saving, guiding, and preparing hearts for God. When he spoke at the Parliament of Religions, the world heard the call to unity: strength without hatred, faith without fanaticism, service as worship. Returning to India, he built not only temples of prayer, but also schools, hospitals, and relief centers — spirituality made living and compassionate. On this 163rd birth anniversary, may his message awaken courage, and his unseen blessing guide us to serve all beings as God Himself. May Swami Vivekananda’s grace uplift every seeker. Om Shanti. 🙏 Shorter version of speech.
